the BOX: perspectives on living outside

in just one week from tonight, Friday March 5th, downtown fullerton will birth its very first Art Walk. we are more than excited to be a part of it. we’ll be hosting the opening of the BOX: perspectives on living outside which will run through April 1, 2010. it entails the work of 16+ artists as they share their perspectives on homelessness through everything from oils to poetry. collage to video. Spazzkid will be bringing pleasure to our ears from 7-9p. and Breakfast with Jesus will be bringing food to our soul (pancakes and eggs). The night, in turn, will bring you out of your box – your comfort zone – and into the BOX.

we will also have a collection box for our brothers and sisters on skid row. if you feel inclined to donate, please consider old books, adult clothes, new socks, new underwear, and toiletries (even female products). your love is appreciated.

we are located in the SoCo District on Harbor Blvd between Commonwealth and Santa Fe Aves. 115 S. Harbor Blvd, Downtown Fullerton.
