PÄS (pronounced pause)

the tools
to be creative, and

history
project art school was brianprince’s MFA journey that started in january 2008. it existed as a blogspot journal tracking the progress, process, projects, lessons, events, inspirations and motivations along the way. it’s still live and can be accessed as a design resource and for browsing the archive. check it out here: http://projectartschool.blogspot.com.
the birth of this brainchild, PÄS, sprouted in may 2009 when brianprince withdrew out of his third semester of the MFA program at Cal State Fullerton with an idea bigger than the box of academia. his idea was to serve the art community with an underground, warehouse-style art supply and lounge. (read i am a serif) it would start by catering to his very own people — art students. the idea was to have pre-packaged supply kits for lower division art courses, a place to ask questions, have open forum on anything art or school-related, and a much more comfortable place to peruse art and design books than the barnes & noble floor. today, brian and kristy prince are attempting to live that dream. rather than warehouse-sized and underground, they found a place smack dab in the middle of the community, the soco district, downtown fullerton. sometimes God has better plans than we can ever imagine. PÄS, the new project art school has been established october, 2009. welcome.
