i really like to nerd-out on informational graphics. i’m always paying attention to the details in signs and way-finding design. i had a blast working with Design For The World on the “push/pull” problem about a year ago (see here). The GRAMMY Museum asked primate design to design a sign for their lobby informing patrons of the essential “prohibitions” and quite possibly the most important essential — where the restrooms are. i took a familiar symbol and modified it slightly to tailor-fit the locations of the restrooms in the 4-floor museum. i like the details because that’s graphic design.
