Roastbeef’s Promise — Author signing.

roastbeef's promise

it’s been nearly a year since i first read Roastbeef’s Promise by David Jerome for the first time and i recently felt the urge to pick it up again for another spin of laugh-out-louds. i’m only in chapter 2 and already, i had forgotten how good it actually is. there is never a dull moment and i find myself not wanting to put it down. they say jack kerouac became famous overnight because of his book On The Road, which i’m also currently reading (just hit part 2), but even with kerouac’s book, i’m able to take breaks. i’m confident that Roastbeef’s Promise will become a classic in due time.

we recently made an “in the news” page on the roastbeef web site (http://www.smackbooks.com/roastbeef/media.html) to track just a few articles on the book. in addition to the local and national press, Roastbeef’s Promise won the Humor category in the 2009 National Indie Excellence Awards®! check it out here: http://www.indieexcellence.com
