allow me to say that again —
ART RISES
AND SETS
IN FULLERTON
CA…

that’s the title for René Cardona’s project he coined the Amerige Alcoves, which is a mural installation on the County Clerk building at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Amerige Ave. i love the title because it is truly fitting to what is happening in our little town. a resurgence! René has painted 5 murals for the individual alcoves that stretch across the Amerige side of the building. they will be revealved on the First Friday, May 4th Art Walk…

although it’s a ways out, i wanted to prepare everyone for this spectacular event in Fullerton.

meanwhile, René will be exhibiting Forms Drawing Gestures at PÄS Gallery for the April Art Walk. Come enjoy a Sunday Champagne Hanging Party, April 1st at 11:30am, complete with poetry readings and be a part of how the show goes up. Then come back for the opening reception which will be held on the first Friday of April to coincide with the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk, April 6, 2012, from 6-10pm.
