Artist Statement: I am a 19 year old from Escano, Honduras. I came to the United States three years ago and have faced many difficulties in my life. Although I continue to struggle as a young immigrant, separated from my family, I have found an escape and healing through my art. I love drawing, painting, and experimenting with new things everyday. I am thankful to be in this country, with its amazing people, and I am so happy to have this first opportunity to show what I love to do.
