from one huge name in music to the next.
besides the resurrection of the Michael Jackson exhibit, The GRAMMY Museum is showcasing another American music icon: Neil Diamond. when i started to concept for this project i tried to soak up the decades of his album’s artwork, his lifetime of achievements and his influence on a generation. of all the research, The Jazz Singer had the flavor and graphic look that, to me, carried the most impact. i feel Neil Diamond fans, and anyone, can identify him through this artwork.
here is the poster i designed for the show that will be on display through january 17, 2010. the artwork will also show up in other promotional materials.
