you are going to die…

we were aimlessly wondering around brooklyn and stumbled upon a strip of galleries. it was after hours but we really enjoyed ‘window shopping.’ here’s a pic of something that grabbed my eye. i think it was in Offset Projects’ space or JunkShop’s space, somewhere…

i want to meet phil birch, the creator of this shirt. first of all, i’ve been using New Courier Bold a lot lately (in almost every piece of my show). i might have left justified it (but that’s just me). and besides that, this is such a great message because it’s so true. it’s the one absolute thing we all have in common. and he chose to throw it on a t-shirt and put it in your face to just make you feel a smidge more uncomfortable than we (the average person) already do (walking) in our own skin.

on another note, here are some signs that stood out while walking around the city…

i’m diggin the ‘No Parking/Street Sweeping’ logo with the added “Don’t Litter” and i’ve become very fond of the NYC logo. hope you enjoyed a little randomness. photo credits: kristy and brian prince.
