downtown fullerton art walk – no.9

what a night last friday! i had no idea Button Cool would actually be so cool. this show solidified our methods of doing art shows. we love adding an interactive aspect to our receptions, breaking the barriers that a stereotypical exhibit holds. Button Cool allowed every walk of life to come in and create something after being inspired by the collections and displays on our gallery walls. special thanks to Oh Hello Friend and Ditto Snaps for adding to the interaction and to all the artists who curated their own sections on the walls: Pam Atta, Wendy Peng, John & Pam Keller, Virgina Valdez & Shawn Sandfer (The Head Shop), Jesse La Tour, King Zulu Lastman, June22, Artemis Nolasco, and Brian Lucett & Andy Anderson (Brunch! Magazine). John Sollom also added his Roswell, NM Classic Japoli Series to the common walls. it was fantastic.

also, our dear neighbors Hibbleton hung the photographs of Marlon Geller and Randy Martin in a show called DRIFT curated by Christie Yuri Noh and Violethour presented many artists including Michael Magoski‘s Vote for the Gnome series and the work of Valerie Lewis.

enjoy some photos from the evening:
